How can workers find jobs in Australia?
Through the Seasonal Worker Programme and now the Pacific Labour Scheme, Pacific island and Timorese workers can access a range of different jobs in Australia. All workers can gain valuable skills, experience and income in Australia to take back to their communities.

We have built-in systems to make sure workers are not exploited. Our Worker Welfare Team makes sure all workers from Pacific island countries and Timor-Leste workers are well prepared to live and work in Australia.
We also provide ongoing support, care and advice for workers from when they start looking for work and throughout their time living and working in Australia.
We are always available to help and assist workers any time they need it and we can also help them settle back in to their community when they get home.
